1 From the woods of oak and chestnut trees of the plain, the beech and fir forests, high mountains. The porcini mushroom can grow even in large specimens of many families.

2 Squat and massive, fully justifies its name, which is the exact translation of the meaning assigned by the ancient Romans (Suillus). If undisturbed easily reach large sizes, which sometimes can become exceptional.

3 Some mycologists have classified twelve species of mushroom, but the species encoded by the current and mycology that experts are able to recognize at first sight for their appearance, are four: aereus Boletus, Boletus aestivalis, Boletus pinophilus, Boletus edulis. This last grows in the forests of oak, chestnut, beech and conifers during the warmer months of summer, its performance is excellent even when it is dried until late autumn.
